The first physics accurate satellite images from the future

What if we could help city planners better understand flood risks to support climate resilient infrastructure?

Flooding is the world’s most pernicious natural hazard. Predicting floods in a way that ensures physical consistency is then enhanced with GAN-generated images to create a ‘satellite image from the future’ for the first time.

Outcome

FDL has created the first physics-accurate, photorealistic visualization engine of flooding by unifying generative computer vision methods with climate models.
